At Treloar Civil & Quarries we are serious about health and safety. We have three main strategies to achieve our objective.

  • Integration of health and safety into the design/engineering of our works;

  • A workplace culture that encourages, demonstrates and expects safe and healthy behaviours; and

  • Measuring, assessing and reporting to support and continuously review the first two elements and our objective.

In accordance with legislation, Treloar Civil & Quarries actively encourages individuals to take responsibility for their own health and safety as well as that of their colleagues and of their workplace. Treloar Civil & Quarries three phases of safety work in harmony to produce an environment for our people that promotes health, safety and protection of the environment as HOW WE WORK.

The safest workplaces do not come about by accident, they are safe and healthy by design. The integration of health, safety and environmental management into the planning, engineering and design of our works is an important element of Treloar Civil & Quarries approach.

The continuous improvement of health and safety management is a part of our commitment to continuously improve our business. We comply with Work Health and Safety Legislation, Codes and Standards as applicable and identify, assess and manage any risks and hazards as they are identified. We are proud of the fact that we excel at risk identification at the engineering and design stage prior to commencing works.

We are third party certified to:

The circle of protection is completed by ensuring that any new hazards are incorporated into future engineering designs as applicable.
